Recursos para una buena Descripción

Hace unas semanas, en clase de Lengua, escribimos unas descripciones. Todos escribieron muy buenos textos y Carol nos marcó los buenos recursos que incluímos en ellos. Éste es un documento en el cual compartimos todos esos recursos:

Kits de propuestas creativas para ampliar los usos de los smartphones

Mariana hizo un post para guiarnos con la consigna de hoy. La idea es contar qué es lo que estuvimos haciendo en clase, cuáles fueron algunos obstáculos que tuvimos y después proponer como se presentaría el kit.

La clase se dividió en distintos grupos y cada uno hizo un proyecto con el smartphone. Algunos hicieron proyectores, otros parlantes, todo DIY.

Nosotras (Luz, Jose, Delfi, Lucy y yo) encontramos DIYs de un lente macro y una luz negra para poner en el flash del telefono. Y con esto decidimos convertirlo en un Kit de Investigación. Un juego mas que nada para chicos para que jueguen a ser detectives. El lente macro funciona como lupa y así pueden investigar distintas cosas, la piel, plantas, lo que se les ocurra. Con la luz pueden meterse en un cuarto oscuro y todo se vería brillante y fosforescente. Y por supuesto, al sacar una foto con flash también se ve como si fuese con luz negra. Se pueden juntar los dos accesorios y la diversión es doble!

Como ahora esta etapa del proyecto es individual, me tocó pensar que más se le podría agregar a este juego… El kit incluiría todo lo necesario para realizar el DIY:

  • una lapicera blanca para aportarle a la luz negra, así entonces los chicos podrán escribir cosas sobre papel blanco que solo ellos podrán ver
  • marcadores (de color violeta y azul)

Para el lente macro se incluiría:

  • el lente
  • un clip de pelo

Los dos necesitarán cinta.

Analyzing: A Birthday

In Literature, we read the poem A Birthday by Christina Rossetti. Our teacher, Pato Chujman asked us to analyze it. I worked with Lucia Roggero, Florencia Araya and Josefina Catani. The following video is about an actress reading the poem aloud:

We had to answer the following questions:

a. What is the theme?
Love, relationship, celebration, religion.

b. What is the tone?
Happy, excited, in love, joyful, glad, etc.

c. What is the main difference between the two stanzas?
In stanza one the voice talks more about nature and in stanza two she speaks of material things.
Ex. Stanza 1: ‘Whose boughs are bent with thickest fruit.’
Stanza 2: ‘Work it in gold and silver grapes.’

d. How are the similes in the poem appropriate for the romantic longings the speaker feels?
She’s explaining how she feels with precious thing because her love is precious to her.

e. How is the metaphor of the birthday appropriate?
It is a metaphor because she feels like she was reborn with this new love. It is like a new beginning, a way to finally be with the person that is right for her. Also a birthday can be associated with a celebration, and love is something she cherishes and wants to celebrate.

f. Make a list of religious symbols. What do they mean in the poem?
“And peacocks with a hundred eyes” is a metaphor that means that God sees through the eyes of nature, of the animals. “Doves” are white birds and white birds represent peace.
